Due to many data leaks and security breaches that have happened lately, using a secure and unique password for every service you sign up for has become more and more important. Using random passwords is fine, but memorizing them is pretty hard. Dictionary passwords are insecure, because they can be broken by brute force. ProPassword uses a different approach by supplying you with a password that sounds like a word and can be spoken like one, but is not to be found in any dictionary an attacker might use to brute force it. Those passwords can be easily remembered but still offer reasonable security. Passwords generated by ProPassword are easier to remember than random password, but still don't appear in any dictionary.
